Former STABBING WESTWARD Singer To Unveil New Band
April 3, 2003THE DREAMING, the new project featuring former STABBING WESTWARD frontman Chris Hall and ex-STAR 69 members Johnny Haro (drums) and Warren Huart (guitar),will be playing a small show on April 13 at The Gig in Hollywood, California. They are open of five bands to play that night and are scheduled to go on stage at 9:30 p.m. Although THE DREAMING will showcase primarily brand new material during the gig, they will also reportedly throw in a few STABBING WESTWARD songs.
The group, who are currently unsigned, have reportedly been demoing material with producer/engineer Bryan Carlstrom (who engineered SW's "Darkest Days" CD) and are said to be playing a musical style more reminiscent of that of early SW than the one found on the now-defunct band's final, self-titled album.
